Activities in Harveys Beach

Harveys Beach may be small, but that doesn't have to be a terrible thing. There are so many activities that you can indulge in while you're there – all that limits you is your imagination. However, we CAN tell you that there are three activities all in all that have attached themselves to the reputation of the beach: strolling, swimming, and camping. While the first two may seem boring as you can do them in any old beach, we can assure you that the ambiance of the place itself make these activities special. The area is cozy, and as such strolls can be charmingly romantic (if you let them be so); and it is picturesque as well – Beacon Hill is part of the Harveys Beach panorama. As was mentioned in a different section of this site, the water is shallow and is ideal for wading and swimming for toddlers, no matter how choppy waters can be sometimes; water games can be played.

The camping is included by virtue of the fact that Harveys Beach is quite close to several campsites found in the area, and as such, this particular beach has become part of the camping experience of that neighborhood. During the summer (that is, the peak seasons), Harveys Beach is neither too hot nor too warm for some great outdoor activities such as Frisbee games or picnics.
